Blitz was absolutely delighted to be awarded ‘AV Rental and Staging Company of the Year 2012’ at last week’s Professional AV Awards. Hosted at the Hilton Park Lane, over 700 leading figures from the industry witnessed Blitz receiving this prestigious award for the second consecutive year.
The judging panel highlighted the company’s continuing development of engaging and interactive product innovations, the most recent being the ‘Event Metrics’ delegate tracking solution, to deliver even more value- for-money propositions. Attention was also drawn to Blitz’s role in educating people working in the events industry through their Technology MasterClass events and seminars.
Paul Hutton, Managing Director of Blitz, collected the award from Clive Couldwell, Editor of AV Europe, and ‘visionevents’, sponsor of this category.
Last year’s citation from the judges read, “A good solid entry with plenty of clear, well presented information on what looks like a great company to work with.” This has continued in 2012 and Munir Samji, Executive Chairman, paid tribute to Blitz’s 96 full time staff, who make it their personal mission to make sure every client gets the best possible service.
