20.09.11 | First for Blitz with RBS Film First

Blitz is delighted to have been commissioned by M&C Saatchi as the main supplier for the launch of NatWest Film First in England and Wales (RBS Film First in Scotland). At Film First, the Banks' customers were able to enjoy this summer's biggest releases in spectacular outdoor settings. Through these exclusive screenings, NatWest and RBS are supporting local community film clubs, and offering customers the chance to experience film in areas otherwise lacking easy access to cinemas or multiplexes. This year's programme featured Super8, One Day and Jane Eyre at Hopetoun House - Edinburgh, Pollok Park - Glasgow, Heaton Park - Manchester, Marble Hill House - London and Bute Park - Cardiff.

Blitz supplied the entire core event infrastructure, including a huge 18m by 9m inflatable screen, dual 30,000 lumen 2K digital cinema projectors with Digital Cinema Package (DCP) content servers, immersive audio via d&b line array system with delay towers, and the full onsite communications infrastructure. Blitz also provided the entertainment lighting and power installation for the events, in addition to emergency and tower lighting systems to allow guests to reach all the major exits safely.
